So, my father had to order a new micro lens (or “macro” for all non-Nikon folks!) for work so he can photograph his plants up close & personal (he’s a horticultural geneticist). Anyway, before he whisked it away to serve the government I was able to pop it on my camera & take a few test shots.
This shot of the stamens inside a purple clematis is, by far, my favourite. My wide open aperture gives an incredibly shallow depth of field which I absolutely love.
