SlowExposures, a juried photo exhibition that celebrates the photography of the rural South, is getting back into gear for 2012.  This will be the 10 year anniversary for the exhibit!

The jurors for 2012 are Brett Abbott, Curator of Photography at the High Museum of Art in Atlanta and Julian Cox, Chief Curator for the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco! 

The weekend of the exhibition will also feature:  

  • A Lunch & Learn with Peter van Agtmael, a young photojournalist, who will be givng a talk on his time spent embedded with troops in Iraq and Afganistan
  • Ten Year Retrospective Show at the Whiskey Bonding Barn
  • The SlowExposures Ball
  • Juror’s Talk with Julian Cox and Brett Abbott
